Watch Bob’s Burgers’ Delightful Cover of Joy Division’s “Transmission”

Bob’s Burgers is currently in its mid-season break, but in the meantime, they’ve shared a new cover of Joy Division’s “Transmission.”

The cover, which arrived on March 27th via Bob’s Burgers Side Orders YouTube page, features Bob (H. Jon Benjamin) on vocals and Gene (Eugene Mirman) on synths. Bob, though rough around the edges, attempts his best Ian Curtis impression, and certainly captures the late singer’s booming baritone. With its composition in mind, the animation team behind Bob’s Burgers also provides a kaleidoscopic display to pair with Bob’s impassioned performance. Watch the cover below.

Bob’s Burgers is in its 16th season at the moment, with the show returning to Sundays on Fox on April 26th. Last year, the show was renewed (alongside The Simpsons and Family Guy), meaning the show will continue running through the 2028–29 television season.
