The announcement follows the release of Spiro's three singles, "Die On This Hill", "The Visitor", and "You Stole The Show", and is accompanied by an album trailer.

Her debut full-length work arrives after her 2025 debut EP SINK NOW, SWIM LATER, a string of nominations, including two American Music Awards for Best Vocal Performance and Breakthrough Pop Artist and a shortlist spot for the Critics’ Choice for 2026 award. Spiro has also performed alongside Sam Smith as part of his San Francisco’s Castro Theatre to duet "Die On This Hill", and started the year with an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Visitor was executive produced by Omer Fedi (Sam Smith, SZA), with additional production from Blake Slatkin, Yakob, and Michael Pollack, in addition to orchestral composers Larry Gold and Peter Rotter. The album was recorded across Electric Lady Studios in New York, Abbey Road Studios in London, and Valentine Recording Studios in Los Angeles, and combines a blend of soul and pop as Spiro explores the fragile nature of life and love.

Speaking about the themes that inspired the album, Spiro shares: “I’ve always had a strong awareness of impermanence; I’m very fearful of things ending and people leaving. It’s so intense that I often won’t participate in new relationships or anything I know won’t last, so in a way I’ve spent most of my life feeling like a visitor — like someone who’s just passing through.

"Making this album really taught me how to savor things in the moment, instead of constantly worrying about the future. When people hear the record, I hope it helps them to find some comfort in the fact that everything is temporary. We don’t always have to rush to let go — we can let things matter without needing them to last.”
