WOLFGANG VAN HALEN Pulls Out Of BLACK SABBATH's Final Show

Wolfgang Van Halen is sadly no longer able to make Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne's final show on July 5 due to prior touring committments with Creed. Also, can you imagine trying to explain this situation to someone five years ago? I'm pretty sure their entire heads would melt.

In an interview with the WRIF radio station, Van Halen said:  "I, unfortunately, had to back out because the Creed tour [with with Wolfgang's Mammoth acting as the opener] starts the day after, and I [wouldn't] be able to pull it off — unfortunately. I'm very excited to watch it, but I unfortunately had to back out."

Black Sabbath's Back to the Beginning concert is set for July 5, 2025, marking the band's final live performance and Ozzy Osbourne's farewell show, held at Villa Park in Birmingham, England. The show features Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward performing together live for the first time in about 20 years; and is Osbourne's solo send off as he battles Parkinson's disease. All proceeds benefit Cure Parkinson's, Birmingham Children's Hospital, and Acorn Children's Hospice.

Creed recently expanded their 2025 Summer of '99 Tour with some additional dates with Mammoth, Daughtry, and Hinder. The new dates are way at the bottom of the below list, as they take place between August 23 and 30. The tour begins on July 9 at Rupp Arena in Lexington, KY. Tickets are available here.
