J-pop duo YOASOBI have announced their return to North America with their “Never Ending Stories” headlining tour. The eight-date trek opens July 31st at Montreal’s Osheaga Music Festival — which marks the duo’s first-ever Canadian performance — before continuing on with stops at Chicago’s Lollapalooza, Boston’s TD Garden, Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, Hamilton’s TD Coliseum, Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena, and Oakland Arena. The tour is set to close at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl on August 16th.
For tickets, a Crunchyroll members pre-sale opens on Tuesday, April 21st at 3:00 p.m. local time and runs through 10:00 p.m. An artist presale will then follow Wednesday, April 22nd at 3:00 p.m. local time, with additional pre-sales runing throughout the week.
A public ticket on-sale is set for Thursday, April 23rd at 3:00 p.m. local time through Ticketmaster.
The tour’s title, “Never Ending Stories,” leans into YOASOBI’s ethos that every song is built from a short story, with these run of shows being framed as a showcase of the “past, present and future of YOASOBI.”
The tour also coincides with the release of YOASOBI’s new EP, E-SIDE 4, out April 24th. The duo’s fourth all-English project collects previously released singles “UNDEAD,” “Watch me!,” and “New me”; an English version of “HEART BEAT”; and two additions to their streaming catalog, “ADRENA” and “BABY.”
