Yungblud Announces Idols II as Sequel to Idols Album

Yungblud has announced a new release titled Idols II, essentially serving as the second part to his Grammy-nominated 2025 album Idols. What’s more, the UK singer is releasing Idols II digitally as part of an expanded edition of Idols this Friday, February 20th.

Idols II features recently released new version of Yungblud’s hit “Zombie” featuring The Smashing Pumpkins, as well six previously unreleased songs: “I Need You (To Make the World Seem Fine),” “The Postman,” “Time,” “War Part II,” “Blueberry Hill,” and “Suburban Requiem.”

“This is it. The second chapter of the Idols story,” stated Yungblud. “Part 1 was a journey that helped me reclaim my identity from the darkest position I’ve ever been in my life. Part 2 is about realizing that I am alive, that I am real, that this journey that I’ve been on didn’t kill me.”

He added, “It’s about realizing that you can feel invincible when you actually feel yourself. It’s about comprehending that my heart is beating and that my lungs are filling up with air.”

Physical copies on 180-gram vinyl and CD will be available for pre-order beginning Friday.

Meanwhile, Yungblud is set to launch his 2026 North American tour in May. The outing sold out immediately, but tickets are available via StubHub.
