Yungblud took home his first-ever Grammy Award on Sunday, earning Best Rock Performance for his live rendition of Black Sabbath’s “Changes” at the “Back to the Beginning” concert. He shared the honor with Nuno Bettencourt, Frank Bello, Adam Wakeman, and Sleep Token’s II, who backed him up at the performance.
Yungblud brought Sharon Osbourne onstage with him during the Grammys’ Premiere Ceremony, and dedicated the award to the late Ozzy Osbourne. “We fuckin’ love you Ozzy… [We] came together in the name of … Sabbath, in the name of Ozzy Osbourne.”
He ended his speech with, “Rock music’s fuckin’ coming back. Watch out, pop music, we’re gonna fuckin’ get you…. God bless rock music, and God bless fuckin’ Ozzy Osbourne.”
