The chickens have finally come home to roost for Home Improvement star Zachery Ty Bryan, who has been sentenced to 16 months in county jail in connection with a February 2024 DUI arrest.
The sentence is directly related to an incident in which he was arrested in La Quinta, California, and charged with felony DUI and a misdemeanor for alleged contempt of court. As reported by PEOPLE, the 44-year-old actor struck a plea deal after pleading guilty to the DUI charge. He had two prior DUI convictions.
Bryan was denied probation and will serve just over 14 months, with 57 days of jail credit. He is also due in court on March 2nd for a probation violation in connection with a 2023 domestic violence conviction. Before these three DUI charges and the domestic violence charges, Bryan was arrested in 2020 and charged with misdemeanor domestic violence. Most recently, he was arrested on second-degree domestic violence charges in January 2025.
