Afghan Whigs announce 40th anniversary tour with Mercury Rev (BV presale for NYC)

Afghan Whigs are celebrating their 40th anniversary this year with a spring tour where they’ll be joined by Mercury Rev. All dates are listed below.

“40 years later, I still get to do the thing I love the most,” says frontman Greg Dulli. “Writing songs and performing them with my friends all over the world. I truly have to pinch myself.”

The tour kicks off in Woodstock on April 25 at Bearsville Theater and hits NYC on April 30 at Webster Hall. You can get Webster Hall tickets early with the BrooklynVegan presale that runs Thursday, January 22 from 10 AM – 10 PM. Use the presale password 40VEGANS.

Any remaining tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, January 23 at 10 AM local time.
