Ann Wilson Announces Tour in Support of In My Voice Documentary

Legendary singer Ann Wilson has announced a North American tour to accompany her forthcoming documentary, In My Voice.

Each date will consist of a film screening alongside a Q&A session with Wilson and director Barbara Hall. Exclusive merchandise will also be available only to those in attendance.

The lead singer of Heart’s new trek is for screenings and Q+A sessions for In My Voice that feature Wilson and director Barbara Hall. Everyone who comes will have access to exclusive merchandise that will only be sold at the screenings.

Wilson’s tour kicks off on May 11th in Seattle and wraps up on June 1st in Boston, with additional stops scheduled in Vancouver, Chicago, Cleveland, Nashville, New York, and Toronto.

Last September, Wilson announced In My Voice as a film that documented her 75-year journey on this planet so far, pulling from her archive of home movies, photographs, journals, and never-before-seen footage.

“This film is my story in my own words, told the way I’ve always wanted to tell it,” said Wilson in a statement at the time. “It’s about finding my voice, keeping it alive, and sharing the journey with the people who’ve been part of it all along.”

In January, Wilson appeared on CNN and spoke about how AI photos that appear on platforms like Facebook have impacted her, her family, and Heart’s ticket sales. “It’s hard to describe how cruel some of them are,” Wilson said. “There was one post of my husband dead in the hospital, and I was leaning over him, crying on a handkerchief. His daughter called, wondering what was going on with her dad. That’s when it struck me that this stuff is really bad.”

She also alleged that the images confuse Heart’s fans, “and it’s kind of hurting our ticket sales and it’s bothering our business.” The singer added that despite reports to Meta, nothing has changed.
