Anvil Announce “Pounding the Past” 2026 North American Summer Tour

Canadian heavy metal legends Anvil have announced a summer 2026 tour of North America.

The tour starts in Rochester, New York, on June 3rd, running through cities like Chicago, Las Vegas, and Seattle, before ending on July 11th in Toledo, Ohio. Tickets for select dates are available via Ticketmaster.

The “Pounding the Past” tour, as Anvil are calling it, will focus on material from their first three albums — 1981’s Hard ‘n’ Heavy, 1982’s Metal on Metal, and 1983’s Forged in Fire — along with other songs from across their career.

Support on all dates will come from New Jersey throwback heavy metal band Midnite Hellion, who fit hand-in-glove with Anvil’s approach to heavy metal, playing a traditional form of the genre that sits appropriately between NWOBHM and early thrash metal.
