It’s a big week to be a BTS fan. Not only have the septet announced a major 2026-2027 world tour, they’ve also confirmed that their new album will be titled ARIRANG.
ARIRANG serves as BTS’ fifth full-length album and will arrive on March 20th. Their longtime label BIGHIT revealed the album title when announcing that pre-orders are now available; see the pre-order purchase guide here. The album artwork for ARIRANG has yet to be revealed, and the album’s tracklist and credits are still under wraps as well.
“Arirang” itself refers to the title of a beloved Korean folk song, often described as an unofficial national anthem and a core symbol of Korean culture and identity. The song’s lyrics and many regional versions center on themes of separation, longing, hardship, and hoped‑for reunion, making it a fitting choice for the K-Pop group’s first new album after four years away.
