The Eau Claire, WI festival founded by Justin Vernon of Bon Iver and Aaron Dessner of The National, Eaux Claires, is returning this year for the first time in eight years. It happens on July 24 and 25 at Carson Park, and they’ve announced the lineup.
July 24 includes Aimee Mann (playing Bachelor No. 2), Bizhiki, Black Sabbath Cover Band Rehearsal, Hotline TNT, Jon Cleary & The Absolute Monster Gentlemen, Kevin Morby, Monica Martin, The Union ft. Phil Cook, and something called Bon Dylan.
July 25 has Daniel Caesar, Dijon, Gash, Gully Boys, Julianna Barwick & Mary Lattimore, Larry Goldings Trio, Lil Yachty, Nathan & The Zydeco Cha Chas, and Urban Classic presents Revelation (a retrospective of the Minneapolis sound).
Vernon’s name doesn’t appear on the lineup, but plenty of his collaborators are playing, and the name “Bon Dylan” suggests his involvement, perhaps covering Minnesota native Bob Dylan? Stay tuned.
Tickets for Eaux Claire locals are available now, with a fan presale on Friday, February 13 at 9 AM CST. General sale begins on Friday at 11 AM CST.
