Empire of the Sun Announces Biggest Tour to Date, Ask That God: Afterlife

Empire of the Sun returns to North America on the Ask That God: Afterlife tour, with stops in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York City, Toronto, and more.

Australian act Empire of the Sun has been one of the most creative and distinctive acts in the music scene for over a decade and a half, and they continue to push boundaries every year. With the upcoming debut of their Chrysalis Festival in Mexico, they’re looking to conquer 2026 even more with the announcement of their biggest tour to date: Ask That God: Afterlife.

Empire of the Sun will make its return to North America with the final installment of the journey for their album, Ask That God. The tour will make stops in over 30 cities and will start on August 11 at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado. Other big stops on the tour include Toronto, New York City, Philadelphia, Miami, Dallas, Phoenix, San Diego, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas, where the tour will conclude on October 9.

Joining Empire of the Sun throughout the tour on all headline dates are dance duo Polo & Pan and electro-funk band Midnight Generation, both of whom will make each stop a memorable one.

Band member Luke Steele expressed his excitement for their most ambitious tour to date, saying, “Ask That God: Afterlife feels like a tour of unknowns and possibilities — new visions, new plateaus, fragile breakthroughs. I think things are going to happen on this tour that have never happened before.”

“It feels like a very pivotal time,” he continued. “We have a new song to sing, we have to step into a new doorway — a new chapter. The world is changing. It feels like a revolution in the world, and we have to unite. Love is the power weapon.”
