Eric Prydz to Bring Back ‘EPIC Radio’ After Six Years off the Air

The relaunch episode of EPIC Radio will consist entirely of unreleased music by Eric Prydz.

The better part of six years have passed since Eric Prydz decommissioned his EPIC Radio mix series. But come 4pm PT on Thursday, March 5, he’s resuming broadcasts with a reimagined format and wealth of new music.

EPIC Radio will air every two weeks from Insomniac Radio, YouTube, and the SiriusXM channel Diplo’s Revolution. Prydz is planning something special for the first installment. The Swedish “Pjanoo” producer is loading up the relaunch episode with entirely unreleased music, making it an exciting prospect for his legion of diehard fans.

For the uninitiated, Eric Prydz famously started as the fourth member of Swedish House Mafia, but he went on to carve out a distinct niche for his keen balance between commercial and underground sounds. He’s known to play out music in DJ sets for years before officially releasing it, leading fans in online forums to ID tracks and even give them working titles until he does.

Perhaps the most significant Eric Prydz release was Opus, the aptly named studio-length album he released in February 2016. He’s also garnered a reputation for delivering spectacle stage shows like EPIC — from which the radio show took its name when it launched in 2012 — and HOLO, which enjoyed a residency at the Ibiza superclub [UNVRS] in 2025.

Prydz isn’t the only dance music act to breathe new life into their radio show as of late. At the turn of the year, Dutch superstar DJ and producer Tiësto swapped out his nearly 19-year-running CLUBLIFE mix series for one called Prismatic that better represents his recent return to trance.

Tune in for the relaunch episode of EPIC RADIO at 4pm PT on Thursday, March 5 via Eric Prydz’s YouTube channel, Insomniac Radio, or the SiriusXM channel Diplo’s Revolution.
