Flavor Flav has further stepped up his efforts to support women’s US Olympic athletes by launching a GoFundMe to help him have an impact beyond his upcoming Las Vegas celebration from July 16th through 19th.

“Many of y’all asked how you can support and donate to our female athletes and the celebrations, so I created a GoFundMe,” the Public Enemy rapper wrote on social media. “I’m hopeful this can have an impact beyond the weekend and help those that represent the best of the US.”

According to the GoFundMe description, funds will support Flav’s “She Got Game” weekend and also go directly to the athletes invited to the celebration. “These athletes dedicate countless hours to their training and competition, often while juggling second and third jobs just to make ends meet,” it reads. “They deserve to be celebrated and supported for their achievements, not just on the field but in their everyday lives.”

As of publishing, the GoFundMe has raised nearly $20,000 of its $50,000 initial goal. Donate here, if you’d like.

In case you missed it, Flav initially offered to treat the US women’s gold medal hockey team to “some nice dinners and shows and good times” earlier this week. This came after Donald Trump was heard saying in a leaked call to the US men’s hockey team following their own gold medal win that he “probably would be impeached” if he didn’t also invite the women to his State of the Union speech.

Flav then extended the invitation to all female US Olympic and Paralympic medalists alongside the US bobsled and skeleton team, for whom he served as the official sponsor and “hype man” at the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics. “It’s all about women’s sports, baby,” he said at the time.

Besides announcing the GoFundMe, Flav raised attention to US women’s hockey player Kelly Pannek, who recently got in a serious auto accident. “She needs a new car,” he wrote. “Lots of brands commenting that they want to help, but few truly stepping up. Who can help?”

Flav first got involved with the US Olympic teams during the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics, when he pledged support to the women’s water polo team.
