"For people who dream about what their life could be like": Quiet Light returns with new mixtape Blue Angel Sparkling Silver 2

3 days ago 4

Lead track "Berlin" serves as the first taste of a project that the Austin-based artist describes as reconciling the stark contrasts of her current life – a Massachusetts hospital, where she's completing her medical training, and a bedroom studio back in Texas. "This record is for people who dream about what their life could be like,” she explains.

"Berlin" arrives with a video directed by Richard Phillip Smith (Audrey Hobert, Slow Pulp).

The new mixtape follows a run that includes Fourth of July, Going Nowhere (2024) and Pure Hearts (2025). In support of the release, Quiet Light has lined up a series of US shows and is offering a limited-edition vinyl pressing that bundles both Blue Angel Sparkling Silver tapes.
