Friko capture the feeling of vagabond life on new single, "Choo Choo"

"Choo Choo" follows previous track "Seven Degrees", released in February, as the latest preview of their upcoming second album, which will be the first Friko release to feature guitarist Korgan Robb and bassist David Fuller, who joined the band during an extensive tour in support of their debut album. Toeing the line between fun and sincerity, "Choo Choo" sees them navigate the strange feeling of being constantly on the move.

Speaking about the track, singer-guitarist Niko Kapetan says: “I’ve always had a thing with the magic of trains, and when I was writing that song I started singing ‘choo choo’ and it made me laugh. It always feels good to play live, with all the slowdowns and speed-ups, but it’s also a very emotional homage to the band and how they feel like home to me.”
