Goldenvoice Announces Head Trip, a New One-Time Only Event in Indio

The lineup for Goldenvoice’s Head Trip includes Calvin Harris, Swedish House Mafia, Skrillex, FISHER b2b Chris Lake, Peggy Gou b2b Four Tet, and more.

Goldenvoice has dominated the Indio landscape for decades with Coachella and Stagecoach, but that doesn’t mean they’ve offered any other unique experiences along the way. In October 2023, the Empire Polo Club hosted Power Trip, a one-time-only event featuring iconic rock acts over three nights. This year, Goldenvoice is once again setting its sights on the fall months with the announcement of its new event, Head Trip.

Head Trip will continue the “one-time-only” tradition on October 10-11, while, much like its predecessor, offering a larger-than-life lineup sure to turn heads. Saturday offers a solo performance from Calvin Harris, while also bringing FISHER and Chris Lake’s Under Construction and two back-to-back sets featuring Peggy Gou and Four Tet, and Seth Troxler and Ben Sterling. Sunday’s lineup is just as impactful, with major artists like Swedish House Mafia, Skrillex, The Blessed Madonna, and DJ Harvey slated to play, along with Dom Dolla b2b KETTAMA.

Beyond those sets is Floating Points, who will bring along the Sunflower Sound System for its US debut. This dome tent, featuring mycelium paneling, artwork commissioned by Josephine Chime, and special guest DJs, will offer an unparalleled sonic experience at the event. Additionally, Head Scream’s Romain Pissenem will be at the forefront of the festival’s production, and Goldenvoice has stated that no sets will overlap.

Two-day GA passes start at $399, with GA passes that include shuttle service starting at $489. Those opting for VIP, which grants access to the VIP area adjacent to the main stage with specialty food and drink vendors, shaded seating, and full no-host bars, can grab their two-day passes starting at $799.

There are multiple ways to stay during Head Trip as well. Car Camping, which costs $129+tax, will place you directly on the Polo Grounds, just like Coachella. Various Hotel Packages with partnered hotels in the area are also available for those who want to stay off-site.
