The trailer for Iron Maiden‘s upcoming documentary Burning Ambition has just been released, along with advance ticketing information for its theatrical screenings.
The documentary, directed by Malcolm Venville (Churchill at War) and produced by Dominic Freeman (Spirits in the Forest – A Depeche Mode Film), covers 50 years of the band’s history
The film spans from their early days in the late 70s gigging in bars and clubs up through their triumph as heavy metal legends in the ’80s, their experimental years of the ’90s and their resurgence after their momentous reunion with vocalist Bruce Dickinson and guitarist Adrian Smith in the ’00s.
The movie also features interviews with famous Iron Maiden fans such as Lars Ulrich of Metallica, Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine, Chuck D. of Public Enemy, and actor Javier Bardem.
Iron Maiden: Burning Ambition will hit select theaters on May 7th. Advance tickets can now be purchased at this location.
The documentary’s release comes as Iron Maiden continue their “Run For Your Lives Tour,” which hits North America in the late summer with support from Megadeth and Anthrax (pick up tickets here).
