“Ride” follows previous single I Could Get Used To This” released last month, teasing the yet-to-be-announced album, now revealed as Superbloom due in April.

Ware first previewed the song at Glastonbury’s NYC Downlow nightclub after her headline performance on the West Holts stage in 2024, with its official release arriving as a look at how the singer-songwriter explores confidence, desire, and control on the upcoming record.

Speaking about the new song, Ware explains: “Ride was the first song I wrote for this record. I made it in 2024 with my best friend Jack Peñate and Karma Kid, who feature throughout the album. It’s a song for the clubs, for the dancefloor - fun, cinematic, cheeky and powerful. I first performed it at NYC Downlow at Glastonbury after headlining West Holts, and I’ve been waiting two years to finally put it out. I know others have been waiting too… So here it is. You’re welcome.”
