London post-emo outfit Tooth drop debut EP with new single and music video ahead of sold-out Soho shows

Restless in Bloom was recorded at Church Studios in Crouch End with producer Kev Jones (Wunderhorse), mixed by Vince Ratti (Turnover, Scowl), and mastered by Will Yip (Turnstile, Title Fight). The four-piece - Pollock on guitar and vocals, Ben Ashley on guitar, Charlie Arnison on bass, and Roy Lowe on drums - have built a buzz around their fun, riotous live shows that smash together anthemic US altrock, second-wave emo, and garage DIY, swinging from chaotic noise breakdowns to shout-along choruses.

Reflecting on the record’s long build-up, Pollock said: “After years of writing, gigging, and growing together as a band, we’re extremely excited to finally share our debut EP. These songs have been with us through some of the most formative years of our lives, and we’ve grown with them. What started as ideas in bedrooms and rehearsals has become a collection of music that captures who we were and all the emotions of that time.”

The arrival of the EP is paired with "Wallflower", and a video directed by Spike Curtis and starring Jacob Wheldon. Watch it below.

Tonight’s live run takes in The Blue Basement, an in-store at Rough Trade Denmark Street, and a late-night set at The Blue Posts - the pub basement where Tooth cut their, um, teeth during a formative residency and which the band see as a homecoming.

After tonight’s Soho trio, the band head out on a headline UK tour that includes sold-out dates in Manchester, Birmingham and Southampton. They will also support Sunny Day Real Estate at two shows and open for Shame, before a summer of festivals: Outbreak, Reading & Leeds, 2000 Trees, Wilderness, Neighbourhood and Left of the Dial.
