Madonna is Coming Back to Dance Music in 2026 with a Brand-New Album

The next chapter in Madonna’s long and storied career is on the way — but most of the details remain a mystery.

Madonna needs no introduction — not only among dance music fans, but also the public at large. The announcement of her upcoming album carries some series weight, but right now, not a great deal is known about the upcoming effort.

According to a press release, it will arrive sometime in 2026 via Warner Records. Madonna, whose full name is Madonna Ciccone, partnered with the conglomerate label for the first 25 years of her career, but hasn’t done so since her 2008 effort Hard Candy. No title, tracklist, or specific release date is currently available for her upcoming effort, which marks her 14th studio album after 2019’s Madame X.

What is known is that Ciccone will once again team up with songwriter, DJ, and producer Stuart Price. The two last worked together on her 2005 album, Confessions on a Dance Floor, whose disco and ’80s pop influences signaled something of a departure for the world-famous superstar.

“From being a struggling artist in New York City to signing a record deal to release just three singles it seemed at the time my world would never be the same again and in fact that couldn’t have been truer,” said Ciccone in a statement. “Since the beginning Warner Records has been a real partner with me. I am happy to be reunited and look forward to the future, making music, doing the unexpected while perhaps provoking a few needed conversations.”

Madonna has yet to share pre-order information for her upcoming 2026 album. Follow along on her social media channels to get updates as they become available.
