No Joy asks bugs about their favorite albums

No Joy’s new album Bugland is out this week, and in celebration bandleader Jasamine White-Gluz was a field reporter for us to find out what are bugs’ favorite albums. The answers might surprise you, and include Massive Attack and the original cast recording of Rent. Watch Jasamine’s investigative report below.

Bugland is a collaboration with producer Fire-Toolz, mixing No Joy’s signature shoegaze with ’90s electronica, screamo and more. Listen to a few songs and watch the video for “My Crud Princess” below.

No Joy will be on tour starting in September, including an NYC show at Trans-Pecos on 9/4. They’ve also added a West Coast run happening in November. All dates are listed below.
