Sebastian Bach was joined onstage at his solo show Monday night in Nashville by Twisted Sister guitarist Eddie Ojeda for a performance of that band’s classic “I Wanna Rock.”

This comes following news that Bach will be taking on the frontman role of a newly reunited Twisted Sister for a run of yet-to-be-announced tour dates in the fall.

Bach sounds like an absolute natural performing this material. While he lacks the New York brassiness of Dee Snider, the group’s iconic original frontman, his own manic energy transfers well to the performance.

The former Skid Row singer delivers the song in a fully embodied way, feeling less like a capable karaoke version and more like the charismatic and hard rocking performance this material needs. With Ojeda on guitar, the performance offers a nice preview of the upcoming Twisted Sister shows.

Twisted Sister were set to embark on a 50th anniversary reunion tour with Snider this year, but the longtime frontman resigned from touring due to various physical issues. He did give Bach his blessing to front the band for a series of shows this fall.

Bach is wrapping up a headlining solo tour of North America, with tickets to his upcoming shows are available here. Watch him perform “I Wanna Rock” with Eddie Ojeda below.
