Surf Gang founder evilgiane drops surprise instrumental album, Giane 2

Giane 2 arrives as the follow-up to the New York producer’s 2022 project Giane. The new album sees evilgiane exploring his interest in electronic music and instrumentals, with features from composer Rue Jacobs and producer Clams Casino.

Surf Gang first started in 2017 as a skate crew between evilgiane and producers Eera (Bladee, Babyxsosa) and Harrison (Jawnino), before they eventually expanded into a label and music collective, with evilgiane serving as lead producer. In addition to collaborating with collective members, evilgiane is credited for his work with major artists, including Kendrick Lamar, Dean Blunt, A$AP Rocky, and PinkPantheress.

His latest project arrives just ahead of a North American tour with longtime friends and collaborators Snow Strippers, who signed to Surf Gang Records in 2023.
