Dune: Part Three is released on December 18, the same date as the epic Marvel blockbuster Avengers Doomsday. Recently, Robert Downey Jr shared a stage with Chalamet, and joked that the duelling releases will have a ‘Barbenheimer’ style title, which they called “Dunesday”.

Chalamet, who recently missed out on an Oscar for his performance in Marty Supreme, spoke about how he is going to be “more intense” in Dune: Part Three. “I didn’t want to be complacent about a single moment” he revealed, “it was my last time doing a ‘Dune’ film, so I really wanted to treat it as sacred”.
