Weezer Announce 2026 Arena Tour with The Shins and Silversun Pickups

Weezer have announced a new 2026 North American tour. Dubbed “Weezer: The Gathering,” the 32-date arena run will take place in fall 2026 and feature The Shins and Silversun Pickups as support.

The tour kicks off on September 8th in Sacramento and continues on through cities like San Francisco, Portland, Vancouver, Seattle, Denver, Chicago, Toronto, Boston, Philadelphia, New York, Washington D.C., Charlotte, Nashville, Orlando, Houston, Austin, Phoenix, San Diego, and many more. The tour will wrap in the band’s hometown of Los Angeles on October 24th; see Weezer’s full list of tour dates below.

Tickets for “Weezer: The Gathering” will first be available via an artist pre-sale beginning on Tuesday, March 31st at 10:00 a.m. local time; members of Weezer’s official fan club will have access to the pre-sale. Verizon and Citi customers will also have access to pre-sales on March 31st. Tickets will go on sale for the general public on Friday, April 3rd at 10:00 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.

To celebrate the tour news, Weezer have announced a new fan event taking place throughout Los Angeles next week titled “The Initiation.” The event will feature a Weezer-themed trivia night, a pickleball tournament against the band themselves, and more surprises throughout the week. Plus, the band have confirmed the release of their brand new single, “Shine Again,” out on April 1st (which is clarified in a press release to not be an April Fool’s Day joke). It’ll be their first release since signing to Reprise/Warner Records and the first preview of their new album, which has yet to receive a title or release date.

Weezer’s last North American tour was their “Voyage to the Blue Planet” run, which saw them commemorating the 30th anniversary of their self-titled debut (A.K.A. The Blue Album). Their last new album was 2021’s Van Weezer, which was followed by their four-part EP series SZNZ in 2022.

Lately, they’ve been active on the vinyl front: They recently announced a new 6xLP vinyl box set combining all their “color” albums, and confirmed 1192, a new collection of early-career demos and rarities that have been remastered and compiled for Record Store Day 2026. Late last year, they also dropped a 7-inch vinyl of their onstage collaboration with Olivia Rodrigo at Lollapalooza.
