Bedouine – “Always On Time”

2 hours ago 3

We've all been waiting so long for a new Bedouine album, and Azniv Korkejian has finally delivered. Last month she announced Neon Summer Skin, her first album in half a decade, and shared its lead single "Long Way To Fall." This week she's got a splendid second single to share, a string-laden grownup lullaby called "Always On Time" that is damn near bringing me to tears.

Korkejian has offered the requisite blurb:

"Always On Time" is about accepting the unfolding of your own timeline rather than comparing it to where you think you're supposed to be. Especially as it pertains to major milestones like starting a family or succeeding in your career. It was a reminder to myself that everyone has their own way of doing things and there's no right or wrong way to go about it. The video reflects that idea by portraying me losing something meaningful and setting out to find it. I get distracted along the way but try to enjoy the journey while carrying the concern of what I've lost.

Dre Babinski of Steady Holiday directed the "Always On Time" video, which involves dogs and basketball but not a dog that plays basketball. Watch below.

Neon Summer Skin is out 6/5 on Thirty Tigers. Pre-order it here.
