Silvani first joined Pale Waves in 2015, three years before the release of the band's debut album, My Mind Makes Noise.
Remaining members Baron-Gracie, Wood, and Doran took to social media to share a statement about Silvani's departure, in which they write: "It’s with sadness that we are announcing Hugo’s departure from Pale Waves. The last decade together has been filled with memories that will last a lifetime. We are forever grateful for Hugo’s role in this band and the music we have created together. Although we will miss him dearly, we wish him the best on his new adventures. With love, Ciara, Heather & Charlie."
Moving forward, Pale Waves will be joining Louis Tomlinson on tour in support of his new album How Did I Get Here? released last month, which will kick off with European dates in March, followed by UK shows in April, before they embark on a summer festival stint.
