Watch Interpol Debut Another New Song, “Wings On Fire,” In Albuquerque

2 hours ago 3

The perennially well-dressed New York rock veterans Interpol seem to have something new in the hopper. Last month, they played São Paolo and debuted an as-yet-unreleased new song called "See Out Loud." Right now, Interpol are between Coachella weekends, and they've used the past week to tour around the Southwest a little bit. On Thursday night, Interpol played Albuquerque's Revel Entertainment Center and debuted another new track, this one called "Wings On Fire."

"Wings On Fire" has a flinty riff and a commanding vocal. It sounds like an Interpol song. Paul Banks only introduced it after the band had already played it. Interpol will get plenty more chances to play that song in the months ahead. They'll tour in Australia and Europe this summer, and they were just announced as openers on the upcoming arena tour from fellow Coachella act Sombr, which is pretty funny to think about. Watch fan footage of "Wings On Fire" below.
